This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you use FlowSignals.
Information we collect
- Account info — your username and password. We do not require an email address to create an account.
- Billing info — handled by Stripe. If you subscribe, Stripe collects your email at checkout to send receipts and payment notices. We do not store card numbers; we keep a Stripe customer ID and your subscription status (plan, trial/active/canceled, period dates).
- Usage data — standard server logs and an essential session cookie used to keep you signed in.
- Holdings you upload (if you use the Holdings tracker) — stored privately and scoped to your account only.
How we use it
To operate and secure the Service, process subscriptions, and communicate with you about your account.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run FlowSignals — primarily Stripe (payments) and our hosting/infrastructure providers. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention & security
We retain your data while your account is active and as needed for legal/operational purposes. We use reasonable safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the US.
Your choices
You can cancel your subscription anytime, and request account deletion by contacting us. The Service is not directed to anyone under 18.
